Hi Eric and Liz, hope the Hong Kong leg of the holiday is going O.K.
Lizzie (and Eric) do you want to know the score for yesterday's games between St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs? And the score between Geelong and Hawthorn?
IF NOT LOOK AWAY NOW!
St Kilda 106 vs Bulldogs 61
I didn't see much of the game but looking at the quarter by quarter scores the Blldogs would appear to have been behind the entire game and well and truly outplayed in the seccond quarter.
Geelong 99 vs Hawthorn 98
Hawthorn took the lead in the second quarter and held it until scores were tied in the last few minutes (giving up a 28 pimt lead through the last quarter ) and then Geelong kicked a point after the siren. I don't like Geelong so was barracking for Hawthorn until I realised they were just below Port on the table so had to try to barrack for Geelong. Too hard! so just left it in the lap of the gods. Port play Crows today. Sam, Josie and David, if he's well, all gog to Port club to watch the Thunderbirds play and then David and I will stay for the football. Tried dad this moring in hospital but no answer. Just about to try the switchboard and see if he's still there. Brief conversation with Dad. He thinks he'll be in hospital till Friday. Trying not to count his chickens with the Saints.
Spoke to Mum yesterday. She sounded O.K. Enjoyed the outing to Parliament House I think.
Sam's Dad's paranoia is getting worse - thinks Sam drove to Canberra just so he could steal Bill's toilet paper to make him look silly so we can lock him up in a home - so we may be visiting soon than anticipated.
Look forward to hearing all about the sights and sounds of Hong Kong.
love Jane and family
